Background

This case concerned an employee’s claim that he was overlooked for promotion. He subsequently raised an internal grievance within the employment company. The Court held that the Respondent Company’s failure to resolve the issue within a reasonable time was unjust. Accordingly the Claimant was awarded €2,000 in compensation for their shortcoming.
