The Complainant had commenced employment in April 2025 under a written offer appointing him Director of Sales for fixed monthly remuneration. He had worked from Ireland, focused upon the Irish and UK markets, attended weekly meetings, and was integrated into the Respondent’s operations. His employment was terminated by email in late July 2025 without notice, but his USD $10,000 July salary remained unpaid. He disputed the consultant label, relying upon personal service, managerial control, integration, and fixed remuneration. Although he had used his own equipment and no tax had been deducted, he maintained the relationship’s substance established employment.
