At Legal Island, we believe feedback should do more than just help us improve — it should also make a difference.
That’s why every year, we run our Rate to Donate initiative.

Through Rate to Donate, we invite everyone who attends our events to share their feedback with us. In return, for every completed survey, we donate £1 or €1 (depending on jurisdiction) to our chosen charities — one based in Northern Ireland and one in the Republic of Ireland.

How It Works

Each year, the Legal Island team nominates charities that hold personal meaning to them — often those that have supported them, a family member, or a friend. After nominations are gathered, staff vote to select the two final charities that will benefit from Rate to Donate over the coming year.

It’s a small gesture from us — but together with our attendees, it adds up to real impact in the communities we care about.

Our Chosen Charities for 2025

For 2025, we’re proud to be supporting two remarkable organisations working tirelessly to protect and empower women across the island of Ireland:

• Women’s Aid Northern Ireland – providing vital support to women and children affected by domestic abuse.
• Women’s Aid Ireland – working to end domestic violence against women and children through advocacy, education, and frontline services.

Every survey completed by our attendees this year helps raise funds for these two life-changing causes.
