This case concerned the dismissal of an employee. Upon hearing the uncontested evidence of the case the Court was satisfied that the dismissal fell short of the standard of fairness expected from a reasonable employer as the basic requirements of procedural fairness and good practice had not been complied with. Compensation was recommended in full and final settlement of the claim.
