In recent years, there have been increasing amounts of governmental attention given to climate change. Indeed, in their 2021 Climate Action plan, the Irish government committed to halving all greenhouse gas emissions by 2030 to reach net zero no later than 2050.  To achieve this, it is expected that all companies will be required to make a public disclosure annually showing the greenhouse gas emissions caused by their activities.  Therefore, it is more important than ever that all employees develop an understanding of the core principles of ESG and the impact they have on behaviours and processes in the workplace.
