Background

The Complainant, a financial crime consultant, challenged the recruitment agency’s handling of an alleged workplace assault during his assignment with a consultancy firm. He stated that, after deciding against renewing his contract, a manager struck his shoulder and neck and questioned his departure aggressively. He alleged that the incident caused pain and aggravated existing injuries. He reported it to the Respondent, disputed its suggestion that the contact might have been friendly, and requested an investigation and CCTV evidence.
